The EBPF International trials were hold over the weekend at Barking Pool Club.
The Youth section was very poorly attended, which just re-enforces the problems we are curretnly experiencing with getting our younger players involved. The 3 players that showed up are all being given the chance to represent England in Ryhl, Wales (Sep 18 - 22nd).
Peter McLoughlin (Cheshire); Gary Frederick (Cheshire); David Silsby (Essex)
The Ladies was attended by 20 players (including 4 re-trialists) - vying for just 5 spaces!!
Retained: Becky Leckey (Essex)
Qualified: Andie Braisby (Derbyshire; Rachael Brookes (Warkwickshire); Nicole Yates (Wiltshire); Claire Seymour (Berkshire).
The Mens section had 44 entrants with 5 qualifiers + 3 reserves being selected for the International teams. (Names to follow).
The Over 40's section had 18 trialists, with 5 qualifiers:
Colin Edwards (Essex); Bali Jans (Cheshire); Steve Hayden (Wiltshire); Paul Eaton (Derbyshire); Steve Sankey (Derbyshire).
Well done to all the selected players and a big thank-you to everyone that attended for supporting the most major EBPF International date.

Jen Bali Jans is our player and not Cheshire.Also we had 2 lads who got into the England team so well done Flintshire....we have 3 players in the England team so maybe some of you know where we are now  . Big congrats to Dave Griffiths, Andy Thallon,Bali Jans!
